In September 2010, we moved on to a 30 acre site in Ashford, Surrey; the site of the former St David's school.

This gives us the physical space to continue to pursue our excellence in art, drama, music and sport. It will allow popular extra-curricular activities, such as Cadets, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, sailing club and kayaking, to flourish even more.

St James builds on the traditions founded by St David's, offering a distinctive philosophically inspired approach to developing character, life skills and academic excellence.

For the past 13 years, St James Senior Boys School has been a most successful and popular school in the Richmond and Twickenham areas and has experienced unprecedented demand for its distinctive approach.

Renovation works have been taking place on the Ashford site for over a year now and will continue with further projects planned up to 2016, ensuring that the facilities are refreshed and modernised.

The main part of the school, that is used for events and Hospitality, will not be affected during this period.

The three St James Schools are based in London and Surrey. Founded in 1975 with the aim of providing a complete education for boys and girls from the age of 4 -18.

The Junior School and Senior Girls' School are centrally located together in West London, close to Hammersmith and Kensington Olympia. The Senior Boys are located in a 32 acre site in Ashford, Surrey.

Together, these independent schools offer a distinctive approach to education which provides for the intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of every child; they aim to provide an environment in which a pupil can discover all that is best within his or her own nature.
